My Journey
Hello there, welcome to check out this page.
This is about me and who I am.
Here are some quotes that resonate with me:
“Work is love made visible. The goal is not to live forever; the goal is to create something that will.”
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. What the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~ Howard Thurman (author, philosopher, theologian, educator and civil rights leader)
Pitch Platforms Sdn Bhd (Malaysia)
Manager for pitchIN Academy, since September 2021
As equity crowd funding (ECF) is becoming increasingly popular for startup founders to raise funds from and for retail investors to take part in their favourite startup’s growth, I foresee the need to provide information and to get educated about the startup investing scene.
pitchIN is a registered Recognised Market Operator (RMO) with the Securities Commission of Malaysia. We have listed and assisted more than 120 campaigns to raise more than RM200 million in the last 5 years.
Head over to www.academy.pitchin.my to check out our very own in-house designed ‘Fundraising Accelerator Programme’ where we have built 8 easy to modules that will take any startup entrepreneur from complete beginner to a knowledgeable fundraising founder.
Wushoo Group Sdn Bhd (Malaysia)
Head of Investor Relations, since March 2021
As Head of IR, I organise and coordinate fundraising roadshows for retail and angel investors who are looking for alternative investment to diversify their asset portfolio. Wushoo has successfully closed its seed funding round in April 2021 with 9 investors backing this round.
Wushoo is an on-demand B2B logistics service provider for micro and SME business owners who need convenience and affordable goods delivery service.
I connect and leverage on my network to invite seed and angel investors. I am the liaison officer with the company secretary to ensure that all investment-paperwork is properly prepared. filled up and submitted. The entrepreneur focuses on building the business while my expertise and experience keeps the CEO (who is usually the Managing Director) on his toes for other compliance matters and deadlines.
CFO Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia)
Chief Operating Officer, Sep 2020 – Mar 2021
As COO of CFO Consultancy, I am tasked to head its training division. Partnering with its Principal Consultant, the founder of CFO Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd and a professional CFO for international companies, we created a 2-Days Workshop known as 'Essential Corporate Knowledge for SME CEOs'.
The objective of this workshop is to empower entrepreneurs to build an ever-expanding business foundation using corporate and financial tools.
Between January - March 2021, I led the team to conduct FB LIVE Talk Shows with the CEOs of Kapten Batik, Jobbie Nut Butter and Zepto Express to create brand awareness, social engagement and content creation which the company intends to build.

GCAL Limited (Singapore) | rapel (Indonesia)
Investors Relations Manager, February 2020 – January 2021
GCAL Limited is the holding company for rapel waste management app, which started serving the Central Java region. It is a recyclable waste-trading app where home or business owners sell their recyclable wastes to our registered collectors who then sell it at a higher price to recycling factories.
As IR, a key part of my role involves building solid, long-term relationship - investors and company. More specifically, being the connector between board of directors with investors. I work with the management team to source for, collate and compile business updates for our investors. My role also involves preparing, planning and executing fund raising activities for the company. Just like every company requires a customer service department to handle customers’ needs. Mine is no different – I take care of the needs of the investors.
Precession Capital Berhad (Malaysia)
Chief Operating Officer, Jan 2017 – Dec 2019
As COO, I played a vital role to implement the plan of actions from the CEO. During my office, I manage daily activities of the organisation; streamline business processes and create SOPs; and talk to various marketing partners for collaboration.
In 2018, I led a small operational team to conduct a feasibility study in Jakarta. As result, we had successfully organised two conferences that contributed to almost 50% of the company's revenue in 2019.
My role doubled as an Executive Director (ED), too. Hence, I was put-in-charge to lead two fundraising rounds between years 2017 and 2019 for the company. I had presented the company's plans to various investors from different cities, such as Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Taipei... and the furthest I had been to was Warsaw, Poland.
I was glad that I left the company at a better place when I first founded it. The company is now actively organising workshops to empower Bumiputra entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses.
